Róbert is a corporate finance advisor with experience across valuation, transaction advisory, financial due diligence, and financing assignments. Prior to joining Ferdinand, he led the valuation team at BDO Hungary and played a key role in the growth and development of the practice. During this time, he advised clients on valuations, acquisitions, financing transactions, and strategic decision-making across a broad range of industries.
At Ferdinand, he advises investors, lenders, and business owners on transactions, financing strategies, valuation matters, and complex investment decisions. His work combines rigorous financial analysis with a practical understanding of commercial drivers, regulatory frameworks, and market dynamics.
Róbert has particular expertise in the energy and utilities sector, where he advises on conventional and renewable generation assets, industrial energy consumers, and energy-transition related investments across Hungary and Romania. His experience also includes manufacturing, pharmaceutical, and business services companies.

Zsolt S. Szabó
As co-founder and partner at Ferdinand, he works closely with business owners on growth strategies, acquisitions, succession planning, and exit strategies, combining strategic perspective with hands-on deal execution.
Throughout his career, he has advised domestic and international clients on M&A transactions and various corporate finance projects. He specializes in M&A and cross-border transactions between Hungary, Romania, and the wider CEE region, providing end-to-end support from business valuation, capital and debt advisory, to transaction management.
He has advised clients across a range of sectors, including agribusiness and food, consumer markets, the TMT sector, and HoReCa. He is passionate about education.

Máté Koppány
Máté is a certified economist and Hungarian Certified Public Accountant, holding a Bachelor's degree in Finance and Accounting from John von Neumann University, specialised in corporate finance, and a Master's degree in Finance from Eötvös Loránd University, specialised in investment analysis.
He started his career as an auditor at KPMG Hungary, where he participated in statutory and IFRS audits for financial institutions and manufacturing companies. He subsequently joined BDO Hungary's valuation team, where he worked on complex valuation and transaction support assignments across multiple industries, and participated in financial and commercial due diligence processes and M&A transactions through financial modelling.
His project experience spans buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence, business planning through integrated three-statement financial models, and controlling, supporting investment evaluation and transaction processes with a consistent focus on precision and analytical depth.

Réka Fekete
Réka is a founding partner of Ferdinand Romania SRL and former Head of M&A at BDO Hungary. Before co-founding Ferdinand, she advised clients on complex buy-side and sell-side transactions across Central and Eastern Europe.
Throughout her career, she has led and supported transactions across multiple industries, covering the full transaction lifecycle from due diligence and valuation through structuring, negotiation, and closing.
At Ferdinand, she focuses on M&A advisory, financial due diligence, and transaction execution, supporting founders, investors, and mid-market companies in domestic and cross-border transactions.
Her experience includes founder-led businesses, agri-food, manufacturing, and other mid-market sectors, with a particular interest in the commercial and operational drivers behind transaction value creation.

Marius Kosa
Marius is a CECCAR-certified accounting and tax expert with more than 18 years of experience in corporate finance, restructuring, accounting, and advisory services.
He is the founder of his own accounting and consultancy practice, where he has advised and managed a portfolio of more than 100 clients for over two decades. Throughout his career, he has completed more than 200 court-appointed accounting and tax expert assessments covering litigation support, financial valuations, restructuring projects, and regulatory compliance matters across multiple industries. He also served as CEO of Rollgum SRL.
At Ferdinand, he brings deep regulatory, accounting, tax, and legal expertise that supports transaction readiness and successful deal execution. His work includes assessing M&A readiness, advising on transaction and financing structures, and supporting business restructuring initiatives. By combining technical expertise with practical experience, he helps ensure that transactions are compliant, well-structured, and executable from both a financial and regulatory perspective.
His sector experience spans healthcare, transportation, manufacturing, and printing & packaging.
